{} Virtual tuning car because
One of the many trends that came with the movie Fast & Furious and Need for Speed Underground series of games is the "art" of the agreement and modifying your car to look as stupid and ridiculous possible!
By this I mean that the addition of "shark fin" as troublemakers, "dragon", as the body of complete kits of vents and grille and the necessary complement of hundreds of stickers performance (therefore expensive) brands part that your car will never have. A must have 'mod' is the neon lights under the car! Look dad, my little seat was captured by UFOs! See how it shines!
It is bloody typical: you can have a Honda Civic that values up to € 3,000 or less and a further € 6,000 worth of stupidity tuner mounted on it! The car looks like it can rocket to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds when the reality brings that number to something more than 8 seconds. And you twist it, grant it, you can buy this candle and the exhaust pipe, twist a little and give it a little more until one day the poor guy collapses.
So the next time you see a large dragon-shaped body through your door, just steer clear out of it because you never know when all this mass of plastic will start in collapsing, pieces of the road. Regarding performance, and fear not, because most times it's heart a car factory under this plastic fat, not to mention their huge exhaust pipes to lose even more power in favor of the aggressive look.
Now that-as a designer-rants had these in my chest, lets talk about virtual tuning as an art.
"Photoshop Garage" is one of many sites that specialize in artists exhibit their pictures virtual tuning. But what the heck is virtual tuning? Do you plug your car into a USB port on your PC and adjust it?! Nada buddies. Virtual tuning is the art of importing a vehicle to your image a favorite drawing software and "morphing" into a totally gob refined carbon fiber and plastic, complete with neon lights under the car! Treatment can be performed using software tools strain indigenous traditional means of cutting and pasting (collage), or if you are skilled enough in painting the new panels and features on the photo - a bit like a matte painting. And yes, this is art, since most of the different vents, body kits, bumpers and spoilers are being painted from scratch in the photo. You then need to match the color and lighting to create an original composition credible.
Some of these pictures are pretty cool to watch when you consider the amount and quality of work. After all, an artistic eye will not see the shape of a dragon does it value the means the artist worked on the characteristics and the way the shading looks realistic. So I do not like these cars? No, but I do admire and appreciate the fact that many hard artistic work is involved in creating a believable illusion of the controlled vehicle! And I saw some amazing things happening in the pictures of models 'core' market, like most artists include the original photo on which they worked. Some of the results afterwards, based on data before the cases are simply amazing!
